Seminar in Verona - Villa Bossi 2015

At the CTC Hotel in San Giovanni Lupatoto (VR), Saturday, October 5th from 9.30 am, the Italian Sommelier Association delegation of Verona will organize a seminar including two high quality tastings on two of the most important and prestigious Tuscan DOCG: Chianti Classico and Chianti Rufina.

In this beautiful location, the AIS delegate from Florence, Massimo Castellani, will lead those present in a full day of in-depth analysis and tasting to learn about the infinite facets that Sangiovese gives in the territories of the two denominations.

The Marchesi Gondi will
also participate by tasting the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva Villa Bossi 2015. This wine has an intense ruby red color, with good coloring texture and light purple reflections. Great olfactory impact with a fruity bouquet of ripe and macerated cherries and blackberries, followed by a sweet, vanilla-integrated spice with balsamic and toasted nuances. The finish has notes of chocolate and coffee. On the palate, great structure and character. The fullness of the wine is demonstrated in the roundness and personality of the tannins, the finish is long with fruity and mineral notes and closes with a pleasant hint of chocolate.
